Infrared Heating

Diagram
Unlike conventional heating systems which only heat the air around us, the warmth we feel coming from the sun is infrared energy. Infrared energy has the ability to penetrate the body and provide heat deep in the body where it is needed and the body’s temperature-sensitive nerve endings in our skin can detect the difference between inside core temperature and outside skin temperature.

In our day to day lives, we experience infrared waves coming from sunlight, a fire or a radiator because the electromagnetic infrared waves have the capability to heat objects around us and in turn they release or radiate this heat, heating our bodies.

Infrared heating has a number of benefits when compared to convection heating.
